Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TerraLoop app and server (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service

TerraLoop is a location-based game: you record real-world movement (walking, biking, or driving) as GPS routes, and closed loops claim territory for your crew, subject to the gameplay rules described in the app.

Your account

Play fair

Do not use GPS spoofing, mock-location tools, automation, or any other method to fake your location or movement. The Service runs server-side anti-cheat checks; accounts found circumventing them may have activities rejected, territory reversed, or be suspended or terminated.

Real-world safety

TerraLoop involves moving through real-world locations, including on foot, by bike, or in a vehicle. You are solely responsible for your own safety and for following all applicable traffic laws, property rights, and local regulations while playing — including never using the app in a way that distracts you while driving. Don't trespass to claim territory.

Territory & season data

Territory, season points, and crew standing are gameplay state, not a purchased or guaranteed asset. We may reset seasons, rebalance gameplay rules, or wipe territory data as described in-app (e.g. at the end of a season) without liability to you.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to compromise its integrity or other players' experience.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TerraLoop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including injury or loss arising from real-world activity undertaken while playing.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
